A collection of poems inspired by the Sherlock Holmes stories, written by Holmes scholar, Kelvin Jones. The poems range from the immortal friendship forged between Holmes and Watson, through to A Study in Scarlet, The Valley of Fear, and the Hound of the Baskervilles, and Holmes’ final retirement to his Sussex bee farm. These nostalgic poems by the award-winning poet and crime writer are evocative of a forgotten, gaslit world where it is always 1895 and we hear our client’s footstep upon the stair.
